SS 410 Tube Fittings used in pure phosphoric acid at lower temperatures and up to 10 % diluted solutions at elevated temperatures. These SS 410 Compression Fittings resists polyphonic acid stress corrosion cracking in hydrocarbon service.
SS 410 Female Connector Fittings can also be utilized in chloride or fluoride free caustic solutions at moderate temperatures. These SS 410 Ferrule Fittings does not perform well in chloride solutions, even in small concentrations, or in sulphuric acid. The high Sulphur content of SS 410 Double Ferrule Fittings also has a detrimental impact on hot workability. If hot forming is required, once again, these SS 410 Compression Tube Fittings should be considered as an alternate selection.
