This SMO 254 Tubes is stainless steel with a high molybdenum composition combined with the nickel and copper. Due to the composition of the alloy the setting and the hole erosion have changed. These tubes show the capabilities of resisting the chloride attack and warm water. The tubes of this grade can be forged and due to its ductility can be cold worked. These tubes can be easily fabricated as it has excellent forming capabilities and welding characteristics. Due to these features these tubes can be formed to other dimensions pipes without any cracking.
